Today the children were introduced to the metre stick.
In groups they measured classroom objects to determine if they were longer or shorter than a metre.
We also discussed when we might use a tape measure and had fun measuring each other’s height. No one was taller than Finn MacCool!!
Unfortunately today’s weather didn’t allow us to get outside, but hopefully over the next few days we will do some more measuring outside too.
