Dr Hannah came to P1 today.

Dr Hannah came to P1 today. She is a doctor and told us about how she helps people. She told us how we can help to get rid of germs and stay healthy.

Dr Hannah is a GP.. She brought her Doctor's bag with her..

She let us try out her stethoscope to hear our hearts beating.

She showed us how a doctor looks in our ears.. it tickled.

Dr Hannah explained that medicine can make us better. We know that we only take medicine the doctor gives to us.

Sometimes she puts plasters on cuts.

Sometimes she needs to put bandages on.

Sometimes we can have injections to stop us getting sick.

We can injections in our arms or sometimes in our bottoms.

Hannah showed us how germs spread by using some glitter.

If we don't wash our hands, the germs can spread to other people.

Very quickly the ‘glitter germs' spread..

The best way to get rid of the germs is to wash our hands with soap and water.

Thank you Doctor Hannah, we learned a lot and will keep washing our hands to help stop people getting sick.
