P6 had a visit from Christina O'Regan today, who shared with us some of the work that she does as an archaeologist in Northern Ireland. She explained how we can be certain that Vikings did raid, visit and set up home in our province. She told us of their importance in trade and setting up towns in the whole of Ireland. She showed us some artefacts that were found in Northern Ireland. She herself found an amber bead in Comber belonging to the Saxon times.
